Lenin's Exploration of the Problem of People's Democracy after the October Revolution and Its Contemporary Value:Study of The Current Tasks of Soviet Power
Lenin first systematized the exploration of the problem of people's democracy in The Current Tasks of Soviet Power.He proposed that insisting on the leadership of the proletarian party in the construction of socialist democracy;the soviets as a higher form of socialist democracy;relying on the rule of law to safeguard the rights of the people,and so on.In exploring these issues,Lenin always followed the principle of party leadership,and while defending the people's rights,he pointed out the direction for the Russian workers and peasants to choose the correct path of democracy,and laid a deep foundation for the opening and exploration of the construction of socialist democracy in Soviet Russia.Standing at a new historical starting point and reviewing Lenin's important ideas,it still holds significant methodological significance for firmly following the path of socialist political development with Chinese characteristics.
