The strategic orientation of ideological and political education is not only the logical starting point for exploring all the theoretical and practical issues of ideological and political education,but also the core issue related to the theoretical development and practical deepening of ideological and political education.For a long time,there have been many explorations of the status of ideological and political education from the perspective of educating people,but there has been a lack of understanding and grasping the strategic position of ideological and political education from the strategic perspective of combining moral cultivation,social practice,and governing the party and the country.Standing at a new historical starting point and a historical position,we must profoundly understand and grasp the strategic orientation of ideological and political education in an all-round way.Ideological and political education is the strategic positioning of the trinity of"the soul-casting project of cultivating people with virtue","the central link of practical development"and"the political advantage of governing the party and the country"which can clarify the vague understanding of the positioning of ideological and political education,further condense the consensus on the strategic positioning of ideological and political education,strengthen and deepen ideological and political education,promote the high-quality development of ideological and political education,and give full play to the strategic role of ideological and political education in promoting Chinese-style modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era.
