In order to solve the problems of large gas emission and gas overrun in the upper corner of the working face in Xiangsheng Coal Mine,taking the 6301 working face as the research object,the Fluent numerical simulation software was used to explore the gas migration in the mining space of the working face under different air volume.The results show that with the increase of air volume,the gas concentration gradually decreases,and the lowest gas concentration is 1.26%when the air volume is 1500 m3/min.Under the action of airflow,gas will accumulate behind the working face and on the side of the return air roadway,and air leakage will occur in the goaf to varying degrees.The areas with low gas content in different horizons will increase with the increase of air volume.
