Performance Analysis of Waste Heat Cooling System Using Exhaust of Utility Tunnel
A waste heat cooling system using the exhaust of utility tunnel is proposed. The feasibility and refrigeration performance of the waste heat cooling system are analyzed. After the outdoor air flows through the ventilation section of the utility tunnel, the exhaust temperature is reduced.Replacing outdoor air with low-temperature exhaust from the utility tunnel as the cold source for air-cooled heat pump units can ef-fectively improve the refrigeration efficiency of the u-nits,and the waste heat cooling system is feasible.Compared with traditional air-cooled heat pumps, the waste heat cooling system has higher refrigeration per-formance coefficient and smaller fluctuations.During the testing period, the maximum power saving rate of the waste heat cooling system reaches 11.9%,and the average power saving rate is about 5.9%.
