The development history of building energy efficiency at home and abroad is reviewed.The problems in the popularization and application of pas-sive ultra-low energy consumption buildings(referred to as passive house)in China are analyzed.The progress of passive house research in China is summarized from both theoretical research and post-occupancy evalua-tion.The future research directions are proposed.
