The problems existing in the common connection methods(welding connection and mechani-cal connection)of stainless steel pipes for gas are elab-orated.It is put forward that stainless steel pipe ferrule-type sealing connection technology is applied to gas pipelines.An application example is given,the advantages and disadvantages of the technology are analyzed,and some suggestions are put forward.
