The communication principle of Bei-dou short message disaster preparedness communication system,the characteristics and functions of Beidou short message data receiving terminal are described.Taking the application of Beidou short message disaster pre-paredness communication system in gas monitoring as an example,the process of data acquisition and trans-mission,system functions,application effects,advanta-ges and disadvantages are explained.
