Art,Life and Modern Media-The Origin of Meishu Shenghuo(Art Life)in the 1930s
Illustrated magazine Meishu Shenghuo(Art Life)was the product of the cross-border cooperation between the print industry and fine art in the 1930s.In the trend of"industry revitalizing the country",artists tried to make art more available to the public through applied art,and the political and business circles were concerned about how to integrute artistic aesthetics in daily life.This intersection formed the background of the publication.The emergence of Meishu Shenghuo was rooted in the strong desire of technicians and intellectuals to popularize literature and art and transform the society.The founding purpose of this magazine reflects a special path of knowledge enlightenment in the transitional period of Chinese society.
