The traditional painting and calligraphy focuses on the comprehensive cultivation of both paintings and painters,such as artistic works by Wang Tiehan(Institute of Design Innovation and Fiber Science,Wuhan Textile University)who sincerely believes the importance of painters'morality,and emphasizes the unity of morality and art works.This thesis will summarize the overall characteristics of Wang Tiehan's paintings through the traditional way of"commenting on art works as well as on morality",and examine the perspectives of creative practices of the paintings(specific brushworks,layout,illusory and real,dynamic and static,etc.),as well as the combination of artwork analysis and the painter's self-description.
