Zhao Junrong,an associate researcher at the Dunhuang Academy,graduated from Jiuquan Normal College majoring fine arts in the 1970s and then worked at the Dunhuang Academy.Zhao Junrong's mural copying covers all periods of Dunhuang murals,and he has continued enrich and developing the methods of copying,collating and restoring the current situation of the Dunhuang Academy,which has further enriched the theoretical system of Dunhuang mural copying,inherited the copying techniques and developed the conservation technology of ancient art.Zhao Junrong personally practiced the concept of Dunhuang copying,and his works not only reproduced the artistic style of Dunhuang Cave murals in different periods,but also showed a strong sense of individual creativity.
