The Southern Song Dynasty landscape painting emphasizes the construction of architectural space,reflecting the pursuit of poetic space and aesthetic tendencies in landscape painting.This spatial construction is reflected in the landscape paintings of the Southern Song Academy painter group.This article is based on the landscape paintings of Ma Yuan and Xia Gui,representatives of painters from the Southern Song Dynasty Academy.It takes palace gardens,village houses,and temple buildings as objects,analyzes their spatial construction characteristics and laws,and provides visual resources for the current creation of urban landscape paintings.
