From Phenomenon to Apperance:Subjective and Objective Components in Image
Images created by cameras/camcorders and light are providing very important value to fields such as art and communication.Whether it is William Flusser's critical thinking on"technical"images or Gilles Deleuze's analysis of images, perception and movement, they all attach great importance to the relationship between the specific visible phenomena in the image and the abstract ideology behind it.The wonder of the image lies in its close and complex construction of"subjective"and"objective".The image is constructed and stored through technologies such as viewfinders, lenses, shutters, photosensitive materials/elements.The time, space, phenomena and physical phases enclosed in it are artificially reproduced through light and carriers. The"reproduction"at this moment is not a"reduction"of the past, but a subjective statement.
