摘要
在2003年，按照国家民政部提出社会福利社会化的要求，全国各地的福利院纷纷开展了家庭寄养项目，但是不同的地方根据自己的实际情况又有着不同的特点，本文就青海省西宁市儿童福利院为研究重点，从该院寄养的初因、寄养的模式，家庭的招募、选择以及寄养的目的等方面展开调查，并介绍专业社工引进寄养工作后的发展，同时指出其中一些问题和不足，并提出解决方案及发展方向。
