Evaluation of soil fertility in Fushun West Open-pit Mine
In order to clarify the current situation of soil fertility in Fushun West Open-pit Mine,we took Fushun West Open-pit Mine as the research object, considered the main physical and chemical properties of the soil, selected soil bulk density, soil moisture content, soil porosity, soil mechanical composition,pH value, organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium,alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen, available potassium, and available phosphorus as the soil fertility evaluation indicators, and used the modified Nemero index method to comprehensively evaluate the soil in the mining area. The evaluation results showed that, the comprehensive index of soil nutrients in the sample plots of the northern slope area, the southern slope deformation area and the western slope restoration area was between 0.4 and 0.6,and the soil nutrients were graded as Grade Ⅲ,and the soil nutrient level was average; The comprehensive index of soil nutrients in the sample plots of east-end mining area is between 0.2 and 0.4,and the nutrient grade is Ⅱ,and the soil nutrient level is relatively poor. The order of soil nutrient level from large to small is:north landslide area>south deformation area>west side repair area>east mining area.It can be seen that the soil nutrient in the east side of the west open pit is relatively deficient, the soil in the west side is slightly deficient, and the soil nutrient in the north and the south side is relatively rich.
