Zoning support technology for entries under contiguous coal seams and its application
With the uneven spacing between the entry under contiguous coal seams and the overlying goaf,it is likely to cause the problem of sparse or excessive support using a unified support scheme.Based on the superimposed beam theory of effective anchoring layer, the return airway in the test area was divided into three areas with different inter-seam spacing:greater than 6.0 m,4.0~6.0 m and less than 4.0 m,and a sub-regional support scheme was proposed for the entry roof of contiguous coal seams, and the industrial tests was conducted after the scheme feasibility was proved with numerical simulation calculation. The results show that, the surrounding rock is stable in different areas after the support scheme was implemented, surrounding rock deformation of the entry was controlled, the overall deformation of the roadway was small, demonstrating the zoning support effect was favorable, which ensured the safe production and reduced the cost for the enterprise.
