Optimization of support parameters for main dismantling gateway in a super-large height mining face
The control of the surrounding rock in the main dismantling gateway directly affects the dismantling efficiency of the working face and mine safety production. To further optimize the support plan and improve the supporting efficiency for the dismantling gateway,No.52501 main dismantling gateway at Daliuta Mine in Shendong mine area was taken to study the the evolution of plastic failure zone of surrounding rock in the main dismantling gateway during the final mining stage by means of FLAC3D numerical simulation. The range and effect of active supports during the final mining stage were determined, and the feasibility of optimizing active supports was proposed. The existing dismantling gateway support plan was further optimized and applied to the main dismantling gateway of an adjacent working face. The results show that, after optimization, the deformations of roadway sides were 302 mm and 73 mm,respectively, increasing by 5.9%and 7.3%,compared to the original plan. The roof deformation was 236 mm,showing an increase of 4.8%,compared to the original plan. The optimized support parameters not only maintained the stability of the main dismantling gateway, but also moderately reduced the support strength, hence,a significant reduction in costs and improvement in efficiency was achieved.
