Design and application of an anti-blocking device at the transfer point of belt conveyor
In order to deal with blockages at the transfer points of belt conveyors,solutions for blockages of sticky coal and large gangue were proposed based on the situation in the main coal flow belt conveyor transportation system of Chengjiao Coal Mine,where the main causes for the blockages were sticky coal and large gangue blockages.The main idea was to solve these two types of blockages step by step,and integrate the solutions into the transformation design of the transfer points.The coal sticking and blockage was solved using high-pressure water flushing,and the free amount of the transfer chute baffle was changed to increase the width of the transfer chute outlet thus to enlarge the space for the flow of large gangue blocks,and the remote control was realized.The two treatment methods were combined,and a belt conveyor transfer point anti-blocking device was designed.The results show that through the renovation design of the transfer chute of the belt conveyor,remote control of the transfer point blockage treatment was realized,personnel reduction and efficiency improvement was achieved.
