Open-off cut cumulation area probing and coal pillars stress at the working face under room and pillar mining gob
To work with the complex factors such as residual coal pillar pressure and goaf water accumulation in the overlying No.4 coal goaf during the initial mining and caving period of No.51208 fully mechanized face at Guojiawan Coal Mine,we employed probing and drilling before mining to make sure and drain the unsafe cumulation water in overlying gob.We studied through theoretical calculations,FLAC3D numerical simulation, and on-site measurement, etc,to define the pressure step and stress distribution of No.51208 fully mechanized face. The results show by means of advanced probing and drilling, and analyses of theoretical calculation and numerical simulation,it is effectively to control major hidden disaster factors, such as residue coal pillar pressure, gob cumulation water, coal seam outcrop and gap development. It provides favorable experience for similar fully mechanized face recovery.
