Abstract
Under the national strategies of"Dual Carbon Goals"and"Coordinated Development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei",the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region faces the dual pressures of economic transformation and carbon reduction. The energy system,as a crucial link to balance economic growth and carbon emissions, plays an indispensable role.Firstly, using an input-output model, the study clarified the tangible and implicit energy transfer networks in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Finally, employing a structural path analysis model, the study identified key supply chain transmission paths in the region's energy consumption. The research findings indicate that the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region heavily relies on coal energy from Shanxi and Inner Mongolia.Sectors with strong interconnections include"Construction","Transportation,Warehousing,Post, and Telecommunications."Critical supply chain nodes are primarily associated with local sectors such as"Metal Ore Mining,""Transportation,Warehousing,Post, and Telecommunications,"and"Wholesale,Retail,Accommodation, and Catering."The conclusions of the study will provide policy recommendations for the coordinated development and energy transition in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
