Research on the carbon emission reduction effect of green credit:Based on the perspective of the mediating role of technological innovation in energy enterprises
As a key financial tool in energy saving and emission reduction strategy, green credit is of great significance in promoting the realization of the dual goals of"carbon peak"and"carbon neutral".Therefore, this paper adopts the panel data of A-share energy enterprises from 2012 to 2021 to empirically study the relationship between green credit and carbon emission of energy enterprises, and the research results show that:green credit significantly inhibits the carbon emission of energy enterprises, and indirectly realizes the reduction of carbon emission through incentivizing the technological innovation of the enterprises, and at the same time, for the enterprises with different property rights and financing constraints, the impacts of the enterprises show the differences, namely State-owned energy enterprises and energy enterprises with high degree of financing constraints are more affected by green credit. In view of the above conclusions, this paper puts forward a series of targeted policy recommendations from the three dimensions of government regulation, banking business and enterprise operation.
