Research and Application of Surrounding Rock Control Technology for Weakly Cemented Soft Rock Roadway in Yili No.4 Mine
Taking the 21113 working face of Ili No.4 mine in Xinjiang as the engineering background,a series of studies were conducted through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and on-site measurement, focusing on the characteristics of shallow buried weak cemented soft rock roadway failure and control technology. The research results show that the deformation characteristics of weak cemented soft rock roadway surrounding rock in Ili No.4 mine are short self stabilization time, obvious stress release, easy softening of mudstone when encountering water, asymptomatic roof collapse, self weight of rock mass, sinking of roof, uncoupling of support structure stress, and failure of support units.Based on the characteristics of surrounding rock deformation,a combined support technology of timely support, shotcrete sealing, arched section, and extended support for tunnel surrounding rock has been proposed. After on-site industrial tests and observation data,it has been proven that this combined support scheme can effectively control tunnel deformation. From the beginning of mining to the end, there has been no sudden deformation, roof cutting, anchor rod(cable)fracture, and steel strip tearing in the 21113 upper groove roadway. The deformation and maintenance of the roadway meet the requirements for the use of the working face groove. It can provide guidance for the design and construction of weak cemented soft rock roadway support in the Ili mining area.
