Study on rationality of small coal pillars in fully-mechanized mining face section of rock burst mines
The setting of coal pillar in reasonable width section plays an important role in the dynamic behavior of gob roadway and the prevention and control of rock burst in fully-mechanized mining face.Based on the research background of the fully-mechanized coal pil-lar mining face in two different width sections of the Nalinhe No.2 Mine, theoretical calculation and analysis were first used to determine the reasonable section coal pillar width of the fully-mechanized mining face.Secondly,FLAC3D numerical software was used to analyze the distribution characteristics of the coal pillar, roadway stress field, and plastic field during the mining period of the two size section coal pillar fully-mechanized mining face. The mechanical characteristics of coal pillars and roadways under two different width range coal pillar conditions were obtained. Finally,by comparing and analyzing on-site microseismic and stress monitoring data, the rationality of retaining small sized section coal pillars under dynamic and static load superposition conditions was verified. The study of small coal pillars in different sections has positive significance for preventing erosion in fully mechanized mining faces in the Ordos region.
