Experimental study on combustion characteristics and application of conveyor belt in underground coal mine
In order to systematically analyze the combustion characteristics of PVC and PVG belts in underground coal mines, and to ex-plore the application and promotion value of PVC and PVG belts in underground coal mines, the combustion parameters such as heat re-lease rate, total heat release, smoke generation rate and total smoke generation of the two types of belts were analyzed by using a cone calorimeter under four types of thermal radiation intensities. The results showed that there were 4 more obvious stages of changes in PVC and PVG belts during the process of thermal radiation, which were preheating, ignition and stable combustion, weakening of combustion and formation of charcoal layer, and flameless oxidation and residue, respectively. When the radiation intensity is 35 and 50 kW/m2,the PHRR of PVG belt is slightly lower, when the thermal radiation intensity is 50 kW/m2,the SPR of PVC belt is 0.146 m2/s,and that of PVG belt is 0.076 m2/s,which is only 52.1%of that of PVC belt, and the PVG tape has a better thermal stability and flame retardant, and has a better value of application and promotion during the process of underground coal mine.
