Application of high-level directional long drilling technology in Xuehu Coal Mine
The gas control of goaf is directly related to the normal and safe production of working face.If the amount of gas emission in the goaf is too large,the gas in the working face will exceed the limit,which will lead to the working face to stop production in light,and the safety accident will occur in heavy,seriously threatening the working face personnel and production safety.When the traditional ex-traction method was used to control the gas emission in the goaf in Xuehu Coal Mine,there were some problems such as not obvious ex-traction effect,large engineering amount,high cost,and low efficiency.Therefore,according to the occurrence of coal seam in the working face,geological conditions,overburden movement and gas migration law,directional drilling can be used to adjust the direction through the feedback of the drilling trajectory from the measuring device while drilling,and achieve the advantages of drilling to a suitable and designated position.The No.29020 working face was subjected to high-level directional long drilling to extract gas from the goaf of the working face,and the daily gas extraction situation was analyzed and evaluated.The results showed that the maximum purity of a single borehole can reach 4.87 m3/min,and the purity of six directional high-level extraction purity is 10-16 m3/min,which is 3-4 times that of conventional high-level boreholes,greatly reducing the concentration of return air and corner gas in the No.29020 working face,and promoting safe and efficient mining of coal mines.
