Objective To investigate the sleep quality of 349 elderly residents in Dachang community and analyze its influencing factors.Methods A total of 349 residents aged 60 years and older were selected by the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)at the end of November 2022.Results Among 349 elderly resi-dents in Dachang community,117 cases(33.52%)had insomnia problems,of which 53 cases(45.30%)took sleep AIDS daily.There were 147 patients(42.12%)with sleep disorder.The three variables of whether there are other diseases combined,whether there is a family history of insomnia/neurasthenia/psychological problems and whether there is chronic pain had statistical significance on the sleep quality of elderly resi-dents(P<0.05).Among them,elderly residents with other diseases,family history of insomnia/neurasthenia/psychological problems,and chronic pain were more likely to have sleep disorders.Conclusion The sleep quality of elderly residents in the community is worrying.In clinical work,general practitioners should time-ly detect and intervene the elderly residents with high risk factors to improve their sleep quality.
