文学场域下林语堂《生活的艺术》在美国的接受研究

摘要
《生活的艺术》是林语堂20世纪在美国专事创作后的第一部英文书,该书一经出版就获得不同读者群的广泛认可,成为西方读者了解中国的必读书目.本文试图在动态的场域中再现它的生成路线,由此路线探究林语堂《生活的艺术》在美国的接受,同时此书的接受也为中国文化的外译提供了可资借鉴的范本.
Abstract
The Importance of Living is the first English book written by Lin Yutang,who lived in the United States as a full-time writer in the 20th century.Since its publication,the book has won wide recognition,becoming a necessity for Westerners to understand China.This paper attempts to reproduce the generative route of The Impor-tance of Living in a dynamic field and explore the acceptance of this book in the United States,which provides a model for translating the Chinese culture.
