Expressions of Things and Love in Deledda's Novel Canne al Vento
Grazia Deledda won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1926,and has been the only female writer to win such a prize in the history of Italian literature.As one of Deledda's representative works,Canne al Vento has received increasing attention from academic circles in recent years,yet there are still many angles from which to conduct a further research.Since entry into the new century,The criticism discourse system of"Material Turn"has highlighted the major role of objects in literary narratives,which provides another perspective from which to study Deledda's works.Love,as an important theme that Deledda has been focusing on and thinking about in her literary creation,also plays a key part in reflecting social changes and highlighting the critical role of growth environment in character creation,conveying Deledda's reflection on good and evil as well as crime and punishment.
