Brief Analysis of the Foreign Policy of Liugu Tubo in Liangzhou:Taking the Uniting of the Song Dynasty against the Xia Dynasty as an Example
In the period of the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty,there were many ethnic minorities such as Tubo,Uighur,Dangxiang and Qiang in the northwest of China.The Liugu Tubo Alliance in Liangzhou was the first unified regime following the development of Hexi Tubo in the late Tang Dynasty,the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty,whose founding was an important turning-point from division to unification of Hexi Tubo.In the early days of the Liugu Tubo Alliance in Liangzhou,the ruler of the regime,Zebu Youlongbo laid down the foreign policy of uniting the Song Dynasty against the Xia Dynasty,inherited by the subsequent rulers of the regime,Panluzhi and Xidodu.To explore the foreign policy of the Liugu Tubo Alliance in Liangzhou of uniting the Song Dynasty against the Xia Dynasty in terms of its performance and influence in the early Song Dynasty has a great significance to clarifying the historical background for the development and change of the Liugu Tubo regime in Liangzhou,its connection with the Song Dynasty,Ganzhou and Uighurs,and its military game with the Xia Dynasty.
