Diversity Survey and Fauna Analysis of Amphibians in Mianyang Anzhou Area of Giant Panda National Park
To understand the resource status of amphibians in Mianyang Anzhou Area of Giant Panda National Park,and to promote the protection and management of amphibians,field surveys by line transects were carried out in September 2022,April 2023,and July 2023.Additionally,the field survey results were supplemented by inter-views and literature review.The results showed that 15 species of amphibians were found in the investigated region,belonging to 12 genera,6 families and 2 orders.In the fauna composition,most of species belonged to the Southwest area of Oriental realm,which accounted for 53.33%of total species.Batrachuperus pinchonii is the only one species belongs to National Second-class Protected Animal,two species as threatened species were listed in the China Ver-tebrate Red List,eight species are endemic to China.Suggestions for protection and management were proposed based on the resource and management status.This study is helpful to fully understand the resource status of amphibians in Mianyang Anzhou Area of Giant Panda National Park.
