Qin ding qing yu collected by the Library of the Palace Museum is a dictionary compiled by category in both Manchu and Chinese.This book has the information of the editor,and was the only copy of the"new Qing yu"series of dictionaries,the others were written or copied,not edited.Based on historical materials such as the Record of the Qing Dynasty and the General Annals of the Eight Imperial Banners,and the relevant archives of the Qin ding qing yu,it was determined that the editors of the journal were Asha and Fede.Through the research of their lives and the analysis of the contacts between Emperor Qianlong and Asha,it was known that the book was not only a courteous gift for the emperor,but also an essential tool for the daily work of officials.It has certain reference significance for the study of other editions of Qin ding qing yu.
