The Spiritual Foundation of National Rejuvenation:A Perspective from the CPC's Remodeling the Spirit of the Chinese Nation
The spiritual culture of the Chinese nation is rooted in the deep soil of Chinese civilization.It has gone through the obscurantism of a feudal society,the spiritual predicament of a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society and up to the intellectual awakening and remodeling under the leadership of the CPC.Since its establishment,the CPC has always been shouldering the historical mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation.It has laid the spiritual and cultural foundation for national rejuvenation through the exploration of cultural rejuvenation,ideological rectification,institutional establishment,and cultural construction after reform and opening up.In the context of the new era,Xi Jin-ping's cultural thought has become an important spiritual force which leads the national rejuvenation and promotes the formation of a series of new-era spirits,such as the spirit of poverty alleviation and that of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.These spirits not only inherit and develop the great spirit of Party founding,but also powerfully push forward the construction of a modem Chinese civilization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
