Introducing Cultural Activities to the Countryside and Developing a New Model of Rural Publicity in the Early Period of New China
In the early days of New China,introducing Shanghai's movies to the countryside continued the historical tradition that arts serve for politics in New China,and was also necessary for publicity and education in rural areas.By chance,the practice became a carrier for constructing a new model of rural publicity and education.The formation and restructuring of movie squads solved the problem of how to bring movies to the countryside,and constructed the new model for the Party's rural publicity and education.Introducing movies to the countryside is cultural work,economic work,and even political work.Based on this understanding,we may find a multi-dimensional perspective to interpret this new model.The CPC has achieved rich experience and remarkable results through building up the new model of rural publicity and education by means of introducing movies to the countryside,namely integrating popular and collective publicity and education with arts.The Party's leadership is the political and organizational guarantee for constructing the new model of rural publicity and education,while the new model solves the problems of farmers'cultural education and promotes the socialization and popularization of publicity and education.
