The Path of Optimizing the Rural Social Security System for Common Prosperity
Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chinese Modernization makes it clear that safeguarding and improving people's livelihood in the course of development is a major task of Chinese modernization.As an important mechanism to promote joint contribution and shared benefits,regulate social distribution,and protect citizens'rights and interests,rural social security plays a pivotal role in facilitating common prosperity.Accordingly,the rural social security system has also been invariably endowed with a new mission.It is not easy to realize common prosperity with the empowerment of the rural social security system,as it is facing many real difficulties in the fields of normative support,main structure and fiscal guarantee.As a systematic project,the optimization of the rural social security system needs to improve its legal system,perfect its main structure,and strengthen its fiscal support,so as to bring the rural social security system into the orbit of socialist common prosperity.
