An Analysis of the Real Menace by Capitalist Discourse Expansion
Capitalism,through the continual expansion of cheap commodities and powerful warships and cannons,has integrated the production and consumption of all countries worldwide.At the same time,through constant expansion and evolution,the elaborate series of capitalist discourse systems completed the deconstruction and remodeling of human's subject spirit,which is more"lethal"and harmful than its material system.The discourse systems of capitalist ideology,individualism,daily life,ideological culture abstract real human beings into atomic individuals,affirm that capital proliferation is the greatest rationality of individuals,submerge human's subject spirit in symbolic consumption,and reshape the spiritual world of human beings in accordance with the will of capital.Highly deceptive,this set of"discourse techniques"removes the ideological obstacles to the continual expansion of capitalism,makes people identify themselves with and even embrace the capitalist mode of production and life,social system and ideological concepts,and sets up numerous obstacles to the comprehensive and free development of human beings.On the new journey in the new era,we must be alert to the influence of the modern capitalist discourse system over the evolution of China's discourse system and the potential risks the former brings.
