The Historical Experience of the CPC's Promoting Media Communication and International Image Building:A Case Study of China Digest
As the first English-language periodical founded by the CPC and distributed overseas,China Digest has accumulated a weahh of historical experience for the CPC's promoting media communication and intemational image building.The experience mainly includes:keeping pace with the times,and focusing on effectiveness and pertinence;adhering to the Party's leadership of news and public opinion work,and becoming a faithful carrier of the Party's and people's voices;strengthening China's voice in the arena of international public opinion,and better transforming the Party's values and concepts into power in international relations;accurately grasping the positioning of the CPC's image,and promoting a more positive understanding of the Party's international image in the international community;innovating the communication methods and narrative system,and expanding the publicity of the Party's international image;strengthening the construction of translation capacity,and expanding the audience in languages that are easy to be accepted by overseas readers.
