Mao Ze-dong's Strategic Thought in Response to the"Anti-China Chorus"
As soon as New China was founded,it was confronted with the extemal crisis of a regional"anti-China chorus. In the face of this crisis,Mao Ze-dong analyzed the nature of different anti-China forces and made specific responses;with materialistic dialectics and theoretical confidence,he pointed out that the essence of the"anti-China chorus"was"suppressing China in a small scale but inspiriting China extensively",which effectively promoted the unity of understanding within the Party and inspired the Chinese people;he suggested that fundamentally dissolving anti-Chinese forces lied in exploring a road of independent socialist construction in line with China's specific realities;he also noted that we must be vigilant against and prevent the imperialist strategy of"peaceful evolution".At present,as the world is accelerating the evolution of unprecedented great changes over the past 100 years,a review of Mao's strategic thinking in dealing with the anti-China forces can provide historical insights for currently promoting the great cause of Chinese modernization.
