The discourse of"exemplary youth"is a characteristic expression and important content of Mao Ze-dong's youth discourse system.Mao Zedong's construction of the discourse of"exemplary youth"has its own profound historical tradition and practical background,and follows the logic of constructing political cogni-tion,revolutionary beliefs,and practical paths,forming the core meanings of"knowledge","faith",and"ac-tion"of revolutionary youth.The core meaning of revolutionary youth is"to have knowledge"and"to have faith".The construction wisdom of adhering to the principle of background to achieve the unity of history and epoch,the principle of content to achieve the unity of science and politics,and the principle of object to achieve the unity of wholeness and particularity is important for the construction of youth discourse in the new era.
