Research on the influence of parameters of horizontal settling centrifuge on solid recovery rate
The treatment of fine-grained coal slurry in the coal industry is the main challenge in coal slurry treatment.Horizontal settling centrifuges have a wide range of applications in the coal field,suitable for various solid-liquid sep-arations,especially for the recovery of fine-grained coal and the reduction of moisture.In order to effectively reduce the processing cost of some fine coal slurry and increase the value-added utilization of recovered fine coal slurry,fine coal slurry from three coal washing plants in Hebei,Shanxi,and Inner Mongolia was taken as the experimental ob-ject,and experimental research was conducted on the effect of centrifuge parameter variables on solid recovery rate,especially the influence of drum speed,speed difference,weir height,feed concentration,and particle size compo-sition on recovery rate.The experimental results show that increasing the rotational speed will improve the recovery rate,reduce the particle size of the classification,and the change after the maximum rotational speed is not signifi-cant;The increase in speed difference gradually increases the recovery rate,and the change in recovery rate is relative-ly small at higher feed concentrations;Increasing the weir height within a certain range is beneficial for recycling,and it is necessary to adjust the weir height to a reasonable range;As the feed concentration increases,the recovery rate gradually increases.When the concentration exceeds 40%,the trend of recovery rate increase is relatively small;The recovery rate increases with the increase of material particle size,while the grading particle size changes very little.
