Connotation,Dilemma and Promotion Path of High-Quality Development of Teacher Education in Ethnic Areas in the New Era
In the context of the new era,the high-quality development of teacher education in ethnic areas has ushered in new opportunities,but it also faces significant challenges at the same time.Based on the basic requirement of fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in the new era,the teacher education in ethnic areas shoulders the dual mission of promoting the solidarity and unity of the Chinese nation and the characteristic development of various ethnic groups.The high-quality development of teacher education in ethnic areas needs to be based on unique natural environment and diverse ethnic culture,so as to construct the integrated cultivation system for high-level pre-service and post-service teachers,and to promote digitization and intelligence,cultivate the high-quality teaching staff,promote the modernization of regional education governance system and governance capacity,achieve high-quality and balanced development of education.The high-quality development of teacher education in ethnic areas currently faces four difficulties:limited number of degree conferring institutions,difficulties in attracting talents and retaining talents,relative scarcity in digital resources,and urgent need for improvement of policy execution abilities.To solve the above difficulties,it is needed to coordinate teacher education resources,and intensify the efforts of talent co-cultivation;create an atmosphere of respecting teachers and valuing education,and lead the professional development of teachers;comply with the requirements of the times,and strengthen the empowerment of digital technology;strengthen the implementation of regular supervision,and improve the effectiveness of policy implementation.
