Rural culture is an indispensable component of excellent traditional Chinese culture.Analyze the rural cultural composition in the unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks from six dimensions:rural history,rural geography,rural nature,rural art,rural folklore,and rural sentiment,it is found that the texts on rural culture in the unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks overall embody the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture,which is conducive to students'perception of the moral norms contained in excellent traditional Chinese culture,recognition of the ecological and environmental protection philosophy of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature,and inheritance of the cultural genes that love the motherland.However,there are also challenges that restrict the depth and breadth of the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture,such as the uneven distribution of rural cultural elements,the need to highlight regional folkloric characteristics,the slight lack of contemporary characteristics,and the insufficient diversity in presentation.Hence,when selecting and compiling texts on rural culture,greater emphasis should be placed on students'understanding of the profound connotations of rural culture,balancing the representativeness and diversity of the texts,reinforcing the linkage between content and real-life experiences.Moreover,it is crucial to enrich the presentation layers of rural culture.
