Path of Ideological and Political Education for Consolidating the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation in Ethnic Middle Schools:Research Based on Field Investigations in Beijing,Shanghai and Tianjin
Currently,emphasizing on ideological and political education as a practical path to consolidate the sense of community for the Chinese nation is the core task of ethnic middle schools to firmly establish the belief of the"Four in Commons"among all ethnic groups'young students.Basing on the survey data collected from Beijing,Shanghai,and Tianjin,this study examines the basic status of ideological and political education in ethnic middle schools on fostering a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation from the perspectives of curriculum system setting,ideological and political education,cultural education,and practical education.Research has made following findings:aspects such as the lack of overall planning in the construction of ideological and political curriculum education system,weak resource guarantee for the construction of ideological and political education team,insufficient conditions for the integration of cultural course teaching and ideological and political education,and insufficient multi-party support for social practice courses and thematic education have become the main factors affecting the ideological and political education of consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation in ethnic middle schools.On this basis,the article proposes following suggestions for ideological and political education to consolidate the sense of community for the Chinese nation in ethnic middle schools:(1)focusing on constructing a set of scientific and effective ideological and political education curriculum systems from the overall planning level;(2)gradually establishing a high-quality teaching group undertaking the education of consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation;(3)actively integrate the education of consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation into the construction of ideological and political education in teaching courses;(4)vigorously carrying out social practice and special education for consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation.This has provided useful insights for promoting the"Five Identities"and establishing correct"Five Views"among young people of all ethnic groups at present.
