Development Status,Influencing Factors and Improvement Pathways for the Professional Quality of Labor Education Teachers in Ethnic Region in Northwest China
Labor education holds an important position in the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics and in the education for integrated development.Labor teachers need to possess comprehensive and practical professional quality to effectively respond to students'labor quality and to completely deliver labor courses.Therefore,based on the policy documents of labor education and the existing research results of teachers'professional quality,the index framework of labor teachers'professional quality is constructed as follows:labor education concept quality,labor education knowledge quality and labor education ability quality.It uses the Delphi method to test,and then uses a questionnaire survey to systematically evaluate the professionalism of 629 labor education teachers in four provinces of Northwest ethnic region.The results show that the professional quality of labor education teachers in the northwest ethnic region is comparatively inferior as a whole,and further analysis shows that the location of the school,the academic qualifications and the professional types of teachers and the supporting mechanism of teachers'professional quality development will have significant impacts on the professional quality of labor education teachers in the northwest ethnic region.Based on the research results,the article proposes following suggestions:to promote the top-level design of the professional development of labor education teachers and establish the concept quality of labor education teachers;to create a digital labor education teacher development collaboration network,strengthen the knowledge quality of labor education teachers;to improve the training model of labor teachers and temper the ability quality of labor education teachers;to establish and improve the standards for the professional quality of labor education teachers,and provide standards for the development of labor education teachers'professional quality.
