Metabolomics has been recently applied in clinical research,in order to identify the biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment.Early diagnosis of psoriasis arthritis has been shown to significantly improve patient prognosis, along with the reduced risks of structural damage and functional disability. In order to understand the current application of metabolomics in psoriatic arthritis, the application of metabolomics in psoriatic arthritis was reviewed. The research progress of metabolomics in psoriatic arthritis was summarized from three aspects including disease diagnosis, disease progression, and treatment. In addition, the limitations of the application were pointed out.The review was aimed to provide a theoretical basis for better future related research.
