Research on the integrated spatial connection of ports in the Yangtze River Delta based on the gravitational model and spatial autocorrelation
The integration of ports in the Yangtze River Delta is an inevitable requirement for achieving regional integrated development.Based on the data of 27 ports in the Yangtze River Delta, the integration level of ports in the Yangtze River Delta in 2010,2015 and 2020 were analyzed by means of entropy weight TOPSIS method. Then, the gravity values of ports were calculated using the gravitational model, with which the strength and characteristics of the spatial connection of the port integration in the Yangtze River Delta were studied, and the statistical results were also tested through spatial autocorrelation. The research results show that:(1)the overall level of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta port group is relatively low,and the development is uneven with obvious polarization characteristics of ports;(2)the spatial network structure characteristics of ports in 2010,2015,and 2020 are relatively similar, showing an uneven spatial connection strength among ports;(3)the pattern of the Yangtze River Delta port cluster is emerging preliminarily, with Shanghai as the core and Jiangsu and Zhejiang as the two wings;(4)the integration level of ports in the Yangtze River Delta presents a global positive spatial autocorrelation.
