Path of"Critical Thinking Plus Ideological and Political Education"in Foreign Language Education
To further promote the ideological and political curriculum education in the foreign language courses,implement the fundamental task of cultivating students with moral integrity and achieve the unity of value shaping,ability cultivation and knowledge imparting,the paper selects classic texts from foreign literature to explore the teaching path of"critical thinking plus ideological and political education"and proposes that the necessity of the teaching path lies in the"performative"feature of foreign languages and the power of the language itself may have a subtle yet profound influence on the learners in the process of acquisition.Besides,the theoretical approach of the path relies on adopting a post-colonial perspective and discovering the implicit centrism in the Western narrative discourse and the practical way of realizing the path consists in skillful questioning and counterpoint reading to discover the hidden meanings behind the texts.Meanwhile,a teaching demo is given to implement the concept of"critical thinking plus ideological and political education"and improve students'critical thinking awareness and cultural criticism competence.
