Relationship between Childhood Emotional Abuse and Online Aggressive Behavior in Adolescents
In order to explore the impact of childhood emotional abuse on adolescents'online aggressive behavior,examine the mediating role of the shattered world hypothesis between the two and the moderating effect of perceived network anonymity,1 230 adolescents were surveyed using the Childhood Emotional Abuse Scale,the Shattered World Hypothesis Scale,the Perceived Network Anonymity Scale and the Adolescent Online Aggressive Behavior Scale.The results show that childhood emotional abuse significantly and positively predicts adolescents'online aggressive behavior;the Shattered World Hypothesis plays a partial mediating role between childhood emotional abuse and adolescents'online aggressive behavior;perceived network anonymity plays a moderating role in the second half of the mediating path of"Shattered World Hypothesis-→Online Aggressive Behavior",and perceived network anonymity plays a moderating role in the direct path of"Childhood Emotional Abuse→Online Aggressive Behavior".The study intends to reduce adolescents'childhood emotional abuse,strengthen family emotional warmth construction,reduce perceived network anonymity and establish a positive world hypothesis to reduce their online aggressive behavior in order to promote the development of adolescents'sound personality and improve their mental health.
