Teaching Design of Online and Offline Plus Ideological and Political Elements in Business English Courses and Implementation Results
To explore the effectiveness and the influence of ideological and political education in Business English courses that integrate the online and offline model and ideological and political elements,the paper,taking the Advanced Integrated Business English Ⅱ course as a case in point,designs such blended teaching approach,i.e.,online and offline method with ideological and political elements with the online approach aiming to enhance the students'language skills and ethical concepts through ideological and political classes,interactive games,and traditional cultural digital communities and the offline employing such methods as ethical case analysis,moral decision-making simulations,and social responsibility projects to develop students'ethical thinking and sense of social responsibility.The survey results indicate that this teaching design broadens students'horizons,enhances their ethical and moral awareness,and strengthens their sense of social responsibility,thus providing an effective approach and paradigm for conducting the ideological and political education in the Business English curriculum and bringing into full play the roles of ideological and political education in the Business English curriculum so as to enhance students'overall quality.
