Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Application and Export Product Quality Upgrading:Theory and Empirical Evidence
The study aims to explore the impact of enterprise artificial intelligence(AI)application on export product quality and its underlying mechanisms.A new theoretical framework is developed by constructing a heterogeneous firm model that incorporates AI technology and empirical analysis conducted using data from China's A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2015.The results show that AI application significantly enhances export product quality by improving production efficiency and optimizing resources allocation.Furthermore,this effect is more pronounced in firms with higher innovation investment,those engaged in general trade,and those with higher export status.The findings provide important insights for enterprises to accelerate the adoption of AI technology and promote the high-quality trade development.
