In order to better promote the empowerment of labor education in the universities with the metaverse,and from the perspective of promoting the digital transformation of labor education space through the metaverse,the paper clarifies the values of metaverse empowerment of labor education,i.e.,optimizing labor cognitive structure,generating labor experience across time and space,enhancing labor thinking ability and building equal and cooperative relationship and proposes five paths for the metaverse to empower the labor education,i.e.,building a virtual labor education platform,promoting the integration and sharing of educational content,building an external ecosystem for collaborative governance,optimizing the education mechanism that integrates virtual and real and enhancing the people-oriented action cognition.
