On Strategies for Improving Normal College Students'Social-emotional Competencies Through English Course in Higher Vocational Colleges——Based on Framework of HEART
The social and emotional competencies of normal college students not only affect the academic success of future education targets,but also affect personal professional development.A survey of preschool education normal students showed that students performed poorly in emotional management abilities,constructive communication abilities,conflict resolution abilities,and a sense of social responsibility,mission,integrity,and dedication.Foreign-related communication and multicultural communication in the workplace are important contents of the core competencies of the English subject in higher vocational colleges.English teachers need to effectively improve students'social and emotional competencies through explicit introduction and implicit teaching.
